The first large illustration by Jan van Haasteren dates back to 1975. The Shooting Pool drawing created a high demand for this type of advertising posters. The posters were very popular, and in 1980, Jumbo decided to release one as a jigsaw puzzle. This turned out to be a great success, making Shooting Pool the founding puzzle of the now - famous puzzle brand. With the Oldtimers series, we look back at the early period of Jan van Haasteren jigsaw puzzles.
